If your iPhone has been exposed to liquid, unplug all cables and do not charge your device until it's completely dry. Using accessories or charging when wet might damage your iPhone. Allow at least 5 hours before charging with a Lightning cable or connecting a Lightning accessory.

I would recommend getting silica-gel and dump your iPhone into there for at least a day. Maybe your FaceID will work again once your iPhone has dried.

Let us know if there are news. Good luck!

If Face ID isn't working for you, there is most likely something wrong with your TrueDepth camera. First, look at these two articles for help. If that doesn't fixa the issue, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have your camera issue diagnosed.

My iPhone’s Face ID was water damaged because the LCD screen is lifted and I dropped it in the bathroom where the floor was wet, in the settings it says that the Face ID has a TrueDepth problem. Now, I don’t mind if my Face ID is no longer working and my phone works perfectly fine as it used to. Is it okay if i don’t get it fixed? Expect, the battery which I think is bloated that cause my LCD screen to be lifted.
