How can I remove the last dot after heading number?

How to put a dot under or above a number in Pages? Hi guys, This is a really weird one that I have here. I was trying to figure out how to put a dot above or under a number, and I saw there is a Putting a dot option just next to the Bold button which I can just click and add a dot above or below the numbers in my text. I have no idea why it was here just like that. However, I have no control over placing it above or under the number as it decides where it wants to go by itself. When I tried to figure out where to adjust its location, it disappeared from the surface. And now I am trying to find it again. Can someone tell me how to find it and use it? Thanks!

Pages does not offer the list Number style without trailing dot that you require. MS Word allows you to customize the appearance of up to 9 levels of indent for lists which can produce the following:

That's what I feared. Hoped there was still a way... I'm trying not to use MS Word, but writing instructions of my school seems not to allow those dots.
