Memory space on MacBook Air.

My MacBook Air gives me the message that my memory is full, it is a early 2015 MacBook. My applications memory is = 7,75GB and system = 11,25 and other = 98,22. What do I do to get the memory I want back or how do I reset it back to factory settings than update software(operating system) from there? I can't access other and system for some reason.

The original poster used the term "memory space" – but the numbers and screen shot that he posted suggest that he has confused RAM with storage space.

I'm guessing that his machine is a MacBook Air (11-inch, Early 2015) and not a MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015).

The MacBook Air (11-inch, Early 2015) came with 128 - 512 GB of flash storage. Other World Computing sells internal SSDs in sizes up to 2 TB for that machine.

The SSD in the MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 2015) cannot be upgraded after the fact.

For both machines, you can add storage using external drives.
