Screen sharing freezes soon after starting on MacStudio

Hello, I have a Mac Studio that I could easily connect to from other Macs, but recently I can connect to this Mac Studio but after a few clicks, the screen sharing window freezes. If I quit screen sharing on the other mac, then I can not reconnect unless I restart the Mac Studio. When I do connect, screen sharing again freezes after a few clicks of mouse and the like. This happens even on the same network so not a firewall issue. I'm running macOS 13.4 and problem started after I upgraded to 13.4, but don't if it's related to macOS upgrade?

I suspect some preference of some sort is corrupted but have no idea how to fix this?

Advice?

thanks

if you hold down the Option key while you click on the Wi-Fi Icon on the menubar, you get a snapshot of current wifi connection speed and other parameters. Transmit rate is what I am fishing for.

As for what stuff, this screen-sharing connection is fine for using Finder on the remote Mac, but can't possibly provide full motion video, so what type of information is being shared could be pertinent.

Well connecting from a MacPro6,1 at work as well as from a Macmini8,1 at home on the same Verizon network, screen sharing would freeze after a few mouse clicks on shared screen (from Mac Studio). Once this happened, I could not connect to the Mac Studio again unless I restarted it, but then screen sharing would freeze after a few mouse clicks. This problem started after upgrading to Ventura 13.4 macOS about a week ago

When I logged out of the standard user and logged in to a second user that I only use as a test user on Mac Studio, problem persisted.  If I restarted into the second (test) user on Mac Studio, screen sharing worked normally.  Curiously, when I restarted in standard user, the problem disappeared (at least for now).

I assume some setting of some sort was reset somehow by restarting in a different user (on Mac Studio)?

If problem recurs, I'll contact Apple support since Mac Studio is less than a year old.

thanks

Here is the info but I don't think that's an issue since Mac Studio and old MacPro at work are on ethernet and not wireless. Mac Studio connects directly to Verizon router by ethernet. Some of the macmini wireless info below:

Channel: 140 (5 GHz, 80 MHz)

Country Code: US

RSSI: -65 dBm

Noise: -88 dBm

Tx Rate: 685 Mbps

PHY Mode: 802.11ac

MCS Index: 5

NSS: 3

well connection from work is over internet of course

no complex videos but just a few clicks to switch windows in screen share and then freeze of Mac Studio screen in screen sharing app. Desktop and anything else still working on Mac Studio directly, so just a screen share issue.

I think some setting was reset when I rebooted in a second user or at least correlated with this
