How do I move the vertical lines to make the columns wider on a spread sheet ?

Two easy ways.
1- Select the columns you want to widen and drag one of the vertical lines between two column letters. This will widen all of the selected columns.
Or,
2- Select the columns you want to widen and change the value in the Width box in the right sidebar.
Here I've selected columns A through E.
