Charger Warranty

Good day,

I just purchased a new MacBook Pro 13” serial number LK****4MF. I purchased it in South Africa and live in Zimbabwe. The charger stopped working yesterday. I took it to your only authorized warranty company in Zimbabwe and they telling me it is going take 4-6 weeks to get a replacement? I have an inverter solar system running my house, so have no inconsistent power issues. Is this your common policy?
