Why can't my family access my Apple Music?

I have been sharing my Apple Music account and storage account with my wife, but for some reason she is unable to access any Apple Music account and has been paying for individual account for years because we just can't figure it out. Now we were out thousands of dollars but there must be a way to fix this.

  1. Is your Apple Music plan the Family Plan or the Individual one? The Individual plan cannot be shared.
  2. Have you set up Family Sharing? If so, her subscription should have been automatically cancelled on the first billing cycle of the Family Plan once she has been invited to the Family Sharing group.
