Error connecting to Apple ID-server

On my MacBook Air I need to update my ID-settings.

However, after filling out my (correct) password I get an error: there’s a problem connecting to Apple ID-server.

I’ve check the Apple server status: all green (although there was a problem yesterday).

At the moment I’m completely stuck.

I can’t update.

The clock is at a wrong time and date and I can’t adjust it.

I can’t visit any internet pages.

I can’t even log off from my Apple ID.

Very frustrating.

I’ve got no problems on my iPhone or MacMini, so it really is the MacBook Air.

Any advice is kindly appreciated!

Dear R_Gabriel,

That solved the problem, thank you very much!

However, after changing the date and time manually I switched it back to synchronizing with time.apple.com.

It instantly goes back to the wrong date and time.

So I corrected it manually again.

Do you know if there’s a way to synchronize it without any issues?

I’ve tried another server (time.google.com), that didn’t work.

All my settings for location are correct.

I’ve tried the solution using Terrminal: sudo ntpdate -sS time.apple.com.

And again: no result.

I hope there’s a solution for this.

If not, I’ll leave the synchronize button off.

Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate it.
