gotcha, TomPerkins1… your Webcam should show up as USB audio… you can check to see if it’s working by going to system preferences> sound>alerts/effects..: there should be audio/sound in and out settings… go to sound in, usb audio should show up as a choice, click it, and you should have a slider bar at the bottom to increase the level/gain on the mic in the webcam as seen by the VU meter thing next to it…here’s a link to the Webcam’s driver page for MacOS 11:-)https://support.logi.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360024692954--Downloads-HD-Webcam-C270… I’d also suspect that the Amazon Speakers you have are okay-ish, but not too powerful( can’t give you tons of volume) , for that I’d recommend a pair of powered speakers with built in amplifiers… you don’t have to spend a ton of
money to get a pair of them ( unless you want to, that is) maybe these ?? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073W1R4XQ/ref=emc_b_5_t….
or these: https://www.klipsch.ca/collections/powered-speakers/products/pro-media-2-0-desktop-computer-speakers… I don’t know exactly what your budget is/ what you want to spend/what you can afford to spend on getting a pair of better speakers for your macBook M2… I’m no expert on these things, just a Mac user here same as you… maybe I gave you a few ideas??
Good luck,
John B
