Camera zooms progressively each video

I am taking videos on my iPhone XR on a tripod, using my Apple Watch to start and stop the recording. When I view the videos, each recording has been progressively zoomed in so that the original scope of the video is reduced. Is there a way to stop this? Thanks

Camera auto zooms during video Hi - I have an iPhone 13 mini and am having an issue with my camera. I've been attaching the phone to a tripod and recording videos of my golf swing. About half the time, the phone automatically zooms in during my swing, preventing me from seeing the full frame. The video is normal until there is a quick motion on the screen, then it abruptly zooms in for the remainder of the video. The tripod is not contacting any of the phone's buttons. Any ideas on how to prevent this auto zoom? thanks!

This issue have been bugging me.

This is happening when taking movie with camera remote app on Apple Watch.

This does not happen with iPhone camera only, and does not happen using 3rd party remote control via bluetooth.

Video recording changes its zoom level as person moves. I've checked camera settings on Settings app on iPhone, but no avail.

Probably you have not used the default Camera App.
