Why does my App Store keep requiring me to verify when I try to download apps but then won’t accept my Apple ID password, my iPhone passcode, or my phone number?

Why does my App Store keep requiring me to verify when I try to download apps but then won’t accept my Apple ID password, my iPhone passcode, or my phone number?

Wondering what info the App Store wants you to verify ...
You might want to check if you are signed in (to your device) with your Apple ID
Sign in with your Apple ID - Apple Support
Else:
It may be your payment method that needs to be verified with your card-provider.
Apple requires a payment method be listed in your Apple ID Account for the first time you use the App Store or iTunes, and also for some purchases.
or
If you have debated a charge from Apple, you may need to ask your card-provider to allow payments to Apple again.

Manage App Store purchases, subscriptions, settings, and restrictions on iPhone – Apple Support
What to do: If you can’t download or update apps on your iPhone or iPad – Apple Support
or
If your payment method has been declined in the App Store or iTunes Store – Apple Support
