Apple Music and Siri

I have an IPhone 8 Plus, and ever since I got a new adapter for my headphones, Apple Music and Siri have been going crazy. Apple Music keeps playing randomly, and Siri keeps popping up. Sometimes when I pause the music, it goes fast, and I can’t do anything. How can I fix this? And are there any other people experiencing this?

If this only happens with the adapter or while it is connected, it is likely defective.


We'd advise trying to use Apple Music and Siri over the built-in speakers, see if you're able to reproduce the issue without the adapter connected. If you are not, and it returns after putting the adapter in the equation again, then we'd recommend reaching out to the seller for either a replacement or refund options.
