I'm trying to transfer an old Mac to a new Mac. My new Mac needs is completely signed out but it needs to update in order to transfer Mac to Mac. How do I update my new Mac when I can't login. It is only on Migration Assistant?

Migration Assistant:
No update should be required for Migration Assistant. Know that for macOS Catalina and after, only 64bit apps will install and run. Anything that is 32bit will not. So, are you using Migration Assistant, or not?
