iPhoto Events

iPhoto Events

All the albums in my iPhoto events are showing as empty

All my other photos are there just the ones under iPhoto Events are gone

Some of these photos are priceless and I really hope someone can help me here

Is this in Photos or iPhoto?

Do you have a backup? If they are indeed priceless you need to implement a backup strategy ASAP.

Are the images in the main library? Images in albums are just references to the images in the library. Removing it from an album does not remove it from the library.

Have you used any "cleaning" apps?

They are already in the Photos Library. Photos created the iPhoto Events just for your convenience.

But if you don't have one, you really need a backup.

Thank you for responding- I went back in 4 hours later and they were all there - I assume they loaded from the Cloud but wondering if I should be moving them? Because it’s only the old ‘iPhoto events’ area that had this ie moved across from my very old iMac years ago. So not sure if I should try copying them over to newer photos area

Yep I do - my hard drive is too small and the monthly cloud cost just jumps too much. So need to order a big hard drive to save all my photos too.
