My photo app has 10000 pictures and videos and takes 130 GB of space while my friend’s iPhone’s photo app has 40000 pictures and takes up 13 GB of space. We have the same models - iPhone 14 Pro. Are there some settings that I need to change?

It is never the number of Photos, it is always the photo and video formats used.
