Yes you certainly can.

A “CHANGE” transfers everything from your “old” AppleID to your “new.”

Since you’ve been an ID theft target; you might consider creating a new single-use email which is used exclusively w/ Apple.

Don’t use it for any other purpose; don’t share it w/ anyone else. This doesn’t “fix” everything, but it’s one more layer of defense.

One school of thought advances a theory that this e-mail should be completely independent of Apple (e.g. GMail) so as to allow your AppleID recovery and alert notification functions to continue to operate in the event of repeat security issues w/ Apple.

Also note that iOS/iPadOS/WatchOS devices are NOT designed to be “multi-user” and that switching a device between AppleIDs - while technically possible - is simply not practical for normal use.

For example: You couldn’t realistically have a single iPhone which you’d “swap” between “personal” and “work” AppleIDs.

It might be appropriate to keep separate work and home Apple IDs, but generally it is not a good idea to have multiple Apple IDs
