Xcode Archive Issues

Hello all.

I've recently just got my first app approved on the App Store.

I released an update to it (1.1) and that went fine. Then, I tried adding an Apple Watch App for it, and it screwed with my project. (I think) I've gotten rid of all the Apple Watch files, and I made some changes to my app preparing for 1.2. I went to go Archive the app, and Xcode will not let me. It is grayed out, and does not give me any indication as to why. I've gone through a checklist to make sure it's not something obvious. I'd appreciate if someone could let me know if it's an issue with the Apple Watch App thing getting in the way. Here's my checklist:

- Automatic Signing: On.

- No errors in build.

- Not on test framework.

- Already tried cleaning the build folder a few times.

- Tried quitting and reopening app many times.

This is why people use source control.

If you can’t just roll back with git, see if you have a copy of the app in Time Machine.

if you don’t have that, you’ll need to recreate the project. It’s pretty easy to re-add your files. Once you restore the previous 1.1 version, put that under source control and add the 1.2 changes, or the best you can do.

I just completely set that project up wrong, and have 100% learned for the future.

That's the way it works sometimes.

One useful trick I learned was Xcode Cloud. I have a very complex project with many subprojects. I was frequently getting odd build problems. I really don't need any of the CI features in Xcode cloud. But I got the project building in Xcode Cloud merely as a way to see that I really had constructed it correctly.
