PAGE COLOR. MAC MAIL 14

I would like to use different page colors in MAC MAIL 14.

I went into FORMAT, FONT and chose a color for page (not font) but that did not effect any changes.

Tried with new mail, still no results.

Suggestions?

iMac 27″, macOS 11.7

But since I installed the Ventura OS v.13.0.1 on my Mac Studio Max 3 days ago, it is MISSING. Instead, there is a mysterious box marked "H" which turns red if I click it, but does absolutely nothing. How to change default highlight color in pages using cmd-shift-H from ugly pink to normal yellow Using Pages 7.1 Title. Picrel shows two ways to "highlight" text. The top, yellow, is done going to text>style>gear/more>text background then selecting yellow. That's a lot of keystrokes when highlighting multiple portions of a text. The bottom, ugly pale pink, is the default color when selecting "highlight" from the "insert" menu bar; or using the cmd-shift-H keystrokes. I want the default "highlight" to be normal yellow like in the top selection. Thanks,

Small fix for Color coding Mac MAIL folders Like many I too would like to add color to certain folders in my Apple email app on my iMac. After searching it seems there isn't an Apple installed way, as by clinking on format, then color, the choice is grey out. I found a very small work around that lets you add an emoji to the folder. Once the mailbox is created and a name is added, go back to the name and click on the name as if you are going to correct the spelling or use a different name. Once the name is highlighted go up top to the Apple main menu and click on Edit. Move all the way to the bottom and select "Emoji and Symbols". You then can assign a Emoji or Symbol can can represent the folder... a Doctor..etc. I find it better than nothing. Warren
