Bootcamp on M1 now (after new licensing deals)?

I saw that Microsoft began licensing ARM windows to Parallels recently in a news article - does this mean that boot camp can finally be supported on M1 macs? I remember seeing somewhere that apparently the M series macs are capable of doing so but just weren't able to due to the licensing, but I just wanted to make sure.

No. Boot camp is not supported on silicon chip Macs.

You do have Parallels options: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/options-for-using-windows-11-with-mac-computers-with-apple-m1-and-m2-chips-cd15fd62-9b34-4b78-b0bc-121baa3c568c
