Arrow keys won't go back on MacBook Air

I have a Macbook M1 2020. I pulled off the right and left arrow off my keyboard to make sure the coffee I spilled did not get under them. (No coffee had gotten underneath.) Then I couldn't get the keys back on. They wouldn't click back onto the plastic mechanism underneath. Then the plastic mechanism came off of one of them and I couldn't get it back on. Then I lost the black top part of one of the keys. Sigh.

Is this fixable? Or am I going to have to live with 2 exposed keys that won't really work?

Thank you for any guidance!

I'd ask Apple or an AASP really nicely if they could fix it. Don't mention anything about a coffee spill. Tell them you were channeling Steve Jobs in a moment of weakness.

When the little white plastic hinged pieces beneath the key covers become dislodged they are very tedious to replace, and are easy to break while attempting to reassemble everything.
