Spam e-mail has exploded and the spammers are now using AI to create subject and address headers so I can't possibly tighten down my iCloud filters enough because of all the new alphanumeric combinations they add in to subject lines, address lines, etc. Does anybody have any clever solutions that will allow me to send more of this crap to the trash?? TIA.

If Junk mail is not working for you as expected you can turn it off in Mail>Settings.
You have the option of installing a third party spam filter. ex.
