You can't even insert footnotes in the table

After all these years, still can not insert footnotes in the tables of pages?

Isn't it too powerful, better than office a million times

still no footnotes and endnotes in the same document? I was just curious if Apple has addressed this shortcoming in Pages: not being to have both endnotes and footnotes in the same document. I thought I'd edit a book in Pages until I found out if you use endnotes and occasionally have a footnote with an asterisk reference. Amazing to me, if that's still the case.

Adding End Notes in Pages I'm trying to add End Notes to a book manuscript. When I go to the "Insert" options, Footnotes (not what I want to do) is accessible, but End Notes is grayed out. I've searched the internet and found the plug in I could buy. They also offer a 30 free trial. I have tried to set up the free trial version (which also asks for a credit card) four times to no avail. Is there no other option to add End Notes?

Apple Notes - Tables lose formatting in iOS26 Prior to iOS26 all of the rows in my tables in Apple Notes were formatted correctly and neatly. Now, it doesn't matter whether it's an existing table or a new table of data - all of the rows are expanded - and as one scrolls down further into the table, the expansion of the row size becomes even more prevalent. To the point that it's unreadable/unusable. There's no way to correct this either. [Edited by Moderator]

Pages is not a clone of MS Word, nor strives to be compatible with every Word feature. Microsoft Word 16.73 does allow one to insert footnotes with table cell with the footnote reference appearing just below the table.

If you need this feature, then you should be using Word and not complaining about Pages as the product team does not participate here and won't see your post.
