My daughters iPad is set up with her own Apple ID but is part of our family sharing. My text messages are still going to the iPad.
help! How can I set it such that they don’t go there?

Presumably your Daughter’s iPad may have been used with your own AppleID at some point in the past. As such, the iPad may still be associated with your own AppleID account.
On your iPhone:
Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding - if enabled, explicitly disable your daughter’s iPad from the list of devices.
