Video turns black, then brightens back up

Hello! When I play a video in Safari, at certain timecodes, my MacBook darkens the image into complete black, then the brightness gradually turns back to normal levels. Surprisingly, this happens at very specific parts of videos and I can literally replay them to see this weird effect. Everything else in macOS remains normal (like while video changes brightness, the UI doesn't change). I thought it might be an issue with the video source but it works perfect on other macbooks, ipad, and iphones. Also, it plays fine in Chrome. I tried resetting everything I could in Safari to defaults, changing display presets, rebooting and even reinstalled macOS— no luck. Anybody knows what's happening?

P.S. I have MacBook Pro running M2 Pro on the last macOS Ventura. I noticed this bug about three days ago and I did not change anything in the settings prior to that.

Solved. Turns out, "Dim flashing lights" option in the accessibility -> display settings got toggled on. It was causing the problem. 🙂
