iPad Pro 2nd gen bootlooping
Okay so I had left my iPad untouched for about a week. It was at full battery, or at least almost full battery. After a week of it not being touched, I tried to turn it on. It didn’t work. I thought it was dead, so I plugged it in using the 12W charger it came with in the box. Nothing happened. I plugged it in with my iPhone’s 20W fast charger, and the Apple logo showed up. Then, it started boot looping. But once you unplug it, it turns off completely, and if you try to turn it on, it doesn’t work, and shows no signs of life. Then, I plugged it into my MacBook. It does the same thing. After this, I tried to put it into recovery mode. It’s kinda finnicky, you have to wait for the Apple logo to show up and then hold the power button and home button at the same time, and then it will randomly go into recovery mode when it wants to. After it gets into recovery mode, my MacBook recognizes it as normal, and shows the options to restore and stuff in Finder like what it should do. Then, after around 10 seconds in recovery mode, it just randomly turns off, and starts boot looping again.
I don’t know what caused this. I’m thinking something faulty with the battery because I left it untouched for so long. Also, my storage wasn’t full, I had around 100GB free on it, so this isn’t a storage related problem that’s causing it to not be able to turn on.
Please help. All of my data is on this iPad. Thank you.
