Applications and the dock
My dock no longer has the applications folder present, it does have Mission Control. How do I work around so I can access my applications?

Sorry, actually that doesn't work. What does work is dragging it into the Dock from the Finder sidebar.

The Applications folder is not normally in the Dock. While in the Finder, press command shift H and you can drag the folder into the right side of the Dock near the Trash.
If you actually meant Launchpad, drag it's icon from the Applications folder into the Dock.
