This fix simply does not work... as far as I am aware I never had a screen passcode (wasn't needed). NOw can't erase my old iphone 8S. I have created a new passcode but it is not recognized. Been through the process six times already... any ideas?
Trying to wipe my old iphone 8S clean to give away as I have a new phone. Online fix simply does not work... as far as I am aware I never had a screen passcode (wasn't needed). Now can't erase my old iphone 8S. I've followed the instructions, changed/ created a new passcode but it is not recognized and accepted and endless loop. Been through the process six times already... any ideas? Oddly, signing in here now on my Macbook Pro which has been known to Apple since 2018, it's been called a 'new device'...
