Keep more than one app on screen

I want to have Mail open and while I compose new message I want to see Photos Library at same time. When I try to do this Mail shoots off left screen and closes. Robert Beckenham UK

When I try to attach a file or a document in the mail, it opens up 'file' App, although it shows some documents in the CamScanner, there is no full visibility of the CamScanner. applications under messages window? When I open up my Messages app on my iPhone, at the bottom (and above the keypad) there is a row of application icons. Some are very handy, like Photos, where I can open my photos and select one to put in my message text. Others are, to me at least, pretty useless. How can I edit this row of application icons. That is, put in the apps there that are useful to me, and get rid of the ones that aren't?

Images not loading in the mail app on my iPad Why do I have to “load the content “ manually for each email? Annoying . Happening on my iPad, iPhone & iMac. On my iPad the “Protect mail activity” is turned on in Mail Settings . I turned it off & enabled “Block all remote content “. Same result. No images in Mail App. Have to load each one separately. Running i0S 17.5.1 on iPad. did not try to manipulate Settings in iPhone or iMac

Use the Article from Apple on using Split Screen

Just shrink the app so you can have both open at the same time and still work on the one you want. Drag the corner of the open window to make the size you want for each app that is open.
