My Apple Music playlist disappeared after I upgraded an app

My Apple Music playlist disappeared after updating an app. Where did it go can it be retrieved? My friend pays my Apple Music and storage each month. I share a plan with my mom and had to enter her Apple ID password to update. But the playlist I have now looks like it’s hers. Why would this happen?
