Apple Notes lagging

I use Apple Notes literally every hour because I have my to-do list there. And sometimes when moving its bullet-points from top to the bottom or vice versa, it takes the text from one bullet-point and merges it with another in a very weird way. Also, sometimes when typing it lags badly for like three seconds and then the text I typed appears. I don’t have that many notes in there so it seems really stran free to me that this type of “simple” app is lagging when using some of the regular features.

It sounds like you're having some trouble with using Notes to manage your to-do list. We can help.

Keeping in mind that the Notes app is more geared toward writing, and that formatting and style are emphasized, it is not unexpected that you will notice some style changes when removing some sections of the note, as the style before the removed section can impact the next section depending on which sections are actually removed.

Another way that you can set up your to-do list is to not use Notes at all, but to use the Reminders app instead. The Reminders app makes it very easy to create a to-do list, and add and remove items quickly and easily. You can also add additional details, such as photos, to a specific line in the list if needed.
