Add Data Plan option is missing in I Phone 12 mini

Hello,

I’m trying to add an e-sim. I have an iPhone 12 mini and my phone is up to date as well. (iOS 16.5).

but I purchased the mobile in China and it's unlocked mobile I'm using in India with Indian network, it doesn’t show the “add data plan” option is not visible, can you please support how to enable the Add Data Plan option and add the E-SIM. screenshot attached for your reference.

how do I solve this issue?

eSIM on iPhone is not offered in China mainland. This is a hardware difference rather than a software one. This is likely why you're not given an option for this despite changing your region. You can learn more about this here: About eSIM on iPhone - Apple Support
