'This app is no longer shared with you' Bug on ALL apps

Iphone12 started churning and draining battery nonstop, so I shut down and rebooted. Now EVERY APP gives the error (including old, new, free, etc),

AND when I click through the "View in app store" button it offers (the only alternative to Cancel), the only option is to UPDATE the app, and if I click that, it gives a "Cannot Update App" error message. FOR EVERY APP.

I've seen the suggestion to Offload and Reinstall, but that is absurd. We're talking EVERY app on the phone.

Also, nothing has changed about any sharing preferences, these are not shared apps.

Hi kkonemo,

We'd like to share a suggestion to help you with this message reading apps. This would appear if there was an Apple ID previously used that was using Family Sharing with those apps installed under that Apple ID. The way to solve this would be to remove the apps and install them under the current Apple ID. If this was not the case and no change in the Apple ID, we recommend making sure to have the latest iOS update. You can follow the steps in Update your iPhone or iPad

"Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly

  1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
  2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
  3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
  4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
  5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do."

If you continue to have an issue on the latest iOS, you'll want to contact Apple Support.
