Unable to receive 2 factors verification

I just changed my carrier from Verizon to Att. I am unable to receive any text messages from 2 factor authentication (like banks, drugstores, etc). I am able to receive regular texts.

iPhone 17ProMax doesn't receive SMS verification codes? I just switched back to ATT from a different carrier and got the new iPhone17 ProMax. It doesn't receive SMS verification codes, making it impossible to sign in to banks, credit cards, or even rideshare apps. I've tried every single fix available online and spent hours on the phone with ATT tech support. Nothing has worked. Please help

Suddenly unable to receive 2 factor verification codes via text message or text with Android users For the past 2 weeks I haven't been receiving 2 factor verification codes via text messages on my 12 Pro Max iPhone. I'm also unable to text with Android users, or be on group texts if anyone has an Adroid. This happened suddenly, with nothing changing on my end. I have spent hours following all of the troubleshooting advice and still am unable to get it to work. I have toggled things on and off, rebooted, and checked to be sure I have SMS on, etc. After following the directions on multiple articles I am at a dead end.

Did you get a new phone number? If so you have to change the 2FA phone number at the sites where you need 2FA.
