Help with Microsoft Word for MAC

Under Settings in Word 16.74 I have selected to show measurement in units of inches, yet when trying to select a Custom Paper Size, everything is in centimetres. I need a custom size document measuring 11" x 14" exactly. Can anyone help me with this, please? If this is the wrong forum, please advise.

I have a subscription to Microsoft Office 365, and I have all the Microsoft apps I need (Outlook, Excel and Word). As I live in Ireland I use A4 as standard. All the other paper sizes are missing. In Microsoft Excel Version 16.91 (24111020) I can select all types of paper size under the same layout (see screenshot below). I cannot understand what is going on? My printer is selected to use A4 as default. What is wrong with Word? Pages - change DOCUMENT measurement units MacOS 10.15.7 Pages 11.1 I have seen many answers that direct to changing the measurement units of the rulers, however, that doesn't alter the units for document setup. I have changed the ruler setting from cm to inches, but then when I go to File > Page Setup > Manage Custom Sizes, I am still stuck with metric, with no ability to set a page size in inches.

Adding page in Word Doc mode without pushing text, objects into following sections I'm writing a manual in Pages 7.3 in Word Document mode. I can't seem to add a page to a previous section without it pushing the text or objects ahead and out of place into the following sections! I have all the objects set to "stay on page" and text wrap set to "none". But when I add a page it affects everything that follows in all sections. Is there a way around this? My Mac is a mid 2012 Mac Pro, OS Mojave 10.14.6 and as I said, Pages 7.3. I imagine a newer version would have fixed this, but am not sure how or where to download the latest version 10.14.6 would accomodate!
