Amazon Music no longer available on iMac?
I was listening to music just this past week and now it doesn't work? App Store says only available on iPhone and iPads? Amazon Video seems to work. What happened?
iMac 27″, macOS 13.4

If you look on your screenshot in the upper right just 2nd line under Accounts & List header, you will see a little arrow in a blue circle & Open Web Player - this will open your app. This app still has all of your playlists, etc. Also, another way to log in is music.amazon.com and you have to log on to your amazon account and it will take you directly to your the music app. It has a different look, but it is all there. Click on Library and Music and all your stuff is there....

Amazon Music is not in the App Store. You have to download it from the link I posted. The latest version is 9.4.3.
Hi,
For some strange reason this app is not found anywhere online. However, I contacted Amazon Support and the representative there sent me the link for the music app for Mac. I asked why the app is no longer accessible. He directed me to Amazon.com. I explained that Amazon.com sends you to a page to scan a QR code. However, it is impossible to scan a QR code to the computer since the FaceTime cam only points in one direction and that direction isn't directed towards the screen showing the QR code. This renders the code useless to the Mac user. If the option was available in this thread to attach the .dmg file for the app, I would've gladly done so (kind of crazy that this site allows for code, link, and picture insertion, along with YouTube embedding, but no option to attach a file. Puzzeled because it is the most common feature used today in these types of threads). My suggestion to anyone who is having trouble finding this download is that you can to contact Amazon support via their chat option.
Hope this helps anyone out there frustrated with this.

Not from everywhere: Amazon Music
Amazon Music for Macs is available on Softpedia, MacUpdate, etc.
I tried looking for an Amazon Music app on Amazon's site, but so far, have only found this Web player:
My version of the Amazon Music Mac application tells me there is an update available, and offers to "Update now," but I'm not sure whether it is offering to upgrade itself – or delete itself in favor of the Web player.
Seems to be a bit of confusion out there:

Some people say that Amazon has ended support for the Mac application (they're pushing people to the Web). Others, that there are links where the Mac app is (at least temporarily) still available.

Don't update it. The compatibility with Mac has disappeared.

I just took the screen shot of it running an hour and twenty minutes ago. It works fine.
Are you running Ventura 13.4 as your signature indicates?
Yes. In the App Store the compatibility with Mac has been removed. Amazon Video still includes compatibility with Mac.
Okay, asking your thread be moved.
Moved?
