Well, the Public Beta has not been released, so you must have registered as a Developer. The Developer site has information about how to uninstall the software.
Sorry, but we cannot discuss beta details on this site.
This was correct as of June 16, 2022, but is not correct as of this time. Things have changed significantly if iOS 16.4 or iOS 16.5 was installed on the iPhone. We could post the new document, but the forum moderators will likely remove it.
This was correct as of June 16, 2022, but is not correct if iOS 16.4 or iOS 16.5 was installed on the iPhone. Different new instructions in that case. We could post the new document, but the forum moderators will pull it and scold us via email.
The moderators pulled the new document when I posted it a few days ago. The explanation was that this is information on the Developer Site and the Public Beta has not yet been released. So, I was wrong to post a document that Apple has not yet approved or released for the Public Beta.
Kind of a Catch 22 here since we can't provide users on this site with up to date information. Unfortunately, I think a fair number of posts from users that we will see on this site will be related to a bootleg copy of the software, since the Public Beta has not even been released. All these guys can't be Registered Developers (who have their own site).
Thanks Bob, good to know.
From what I understand, it's ok to post information on how to remove a beta, it's not ok to post information on how to repair or support it.
