How to fix a cracked Trackpad on MacBook Pro?

I literally just opened my MacBook Air M2 and experienced the exact issue except a diagonal crack on the trackpad that seems to be internal. What was the solution to this issue?

Had the same problem - touch pad cracked while working on my relatively new Mac Pro - this is clearly not normal. I love apple, but this is giving the product a bad name.

We have an Apple care then too we gotta pay 8900???? Like why? I also have a warranty would it be the same still?

This has also happened to me this morning. So frustrating as it was fine yesterday when I went to bed. Opened it up this morning to find a crack under the surface of the trackpad.

Agree, mine too will be covered but I am wondering why this is happening?
