But when you open the "iTunes" app to purchase Movies / TV shows it now says that it has moved over to the TV app. And in there I can't seem to find my wish list - which really is a bummer since i used that to keep track of movies i wanna buy but i wanna wait for a lower price for
Yes, that is an unfortunate omission with tvOS 17.2. Please let Apple know what you are missing that you feel is important, by giving feedback: Feedback - Apple TV - Apple.
Up Next is terrible though because it’s automatically populated with stuff you started watching, plus stuff you manually added that you (may) want to watch, it’s not just a store purchase wish list. A poor substitute In my opinion.
This is B.S. I use my wish list too. I want it back!
SOLVED.
I just found my old wish list for movies I had wanted to buy.
I hope this helps!!
I just saw it in Apple TV! I swiped up and there were two buttons; one said movies, and one said wish list and I clicked on the wishlist one and it opened up my old wishlist! But then I clicked away and now I can’t get back and I don’t know how I got there in the first place. But I think it’s still in there, tho it may have been a bug.
It’s not the same but you can download the CheapCharts app, then add a movie to wishlist. If it goes in sale, it sends a notification to let you know that movie or show is on sale. I actually prefer it better than the iTunes wish list anyway because of the notification when on sale has saved me from having to manually check my wish list everyday.
Apple TV+ is a subscription service. The Wish List is for buy/rent items from the iTunes Store (not Apple TV+).
There is a Wish List in the iTunes Movies app, not in the Apple TV app.
There is a (different) Wish List in the iTunes Store app on iPhone and iPad.
The tiles in the Apple TV app should show a progress bar for partially watched content.
The Up Next row should show the current or next episode to keep track of your watch progress.
I use Up Next in TV app to create a "Wish List". Go to the movie or TV show in TV app and tap the "+" button for that show or movie and it will show up in Up Next.
