How long does it take to update on your phone
How long will my phone be not able to use? Like how long dose it take to complete the update for the iOS 16.5 on your iPhone?

Mine took about 20 minutes. You can use your phone while downloading the update and while Preparing the Update as can be seen on the update page. When Preparing is complete, you will be given a notification that your phone needs to restart. It was that last step that took about 20 minutes for me after the restart. It could take longer depending on the device and what version you are updating from, but you just want to let it do its thing and not interrupt it. If you are worried about not using your phone, let it update overnight.
