Unable to open Jar file

I am using MacOs Ventura , When opening a Jar file, it shows me error: "An error occurred: null" on the terminal. No response is visible when double click directly. Please help.

I have Java installed already. (Also tried with various versions of Jar file)

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 13.2

Java Application Launch Fail Hello, I am trying to launch a .jar file on my macbook (macOS Monterey 12.7.6) with JavaLauncher. I have always been able to launch this application, but after updating Java with Version 8 Update 441 I get an error. The error says, "Java Application launch failed. Check console for possible error messages related to "/Users/Diana_A/Desktop/obs_20250120/obs_20250120.jar". I can't find any errors. Based on the advice of other threads, I tried opening the file directly from the terminal using "java -jar/Users/Diana_A/Desktop/obs_20250120/obs_20250120.jar". Cant use Java Environment to open a .Jar Hi. I am trying to run a programme called Heroscribe on my Mac. I have downloaded what I believe to be the correct Java file, but every-time I try to open the .jar file it says ' Java Application launch failed...Check console for possible error messages related to "/Users/xxxxxx/Desktop/HeroScribe.jar". Java error in macOS Ventura when launching Etrade Pro After a recent update from Etrade Pro I keep getting this error on launch. Seems it has to do with the update checker. I downloaded java from brew but that did not help. Any idea how to resolve this? What am I missing?
