Once an email is deleted from your Trash you cannot retrieve it. If you just delete it from your Inbox, then the email should be in your Trash. The following are the steps to delete and recover emails on iPhone - Delete and recover emails in Mail on iPhone - Apple Support. If you're using Mail through iCloud.com the steps should be similar.
