My elderly parents added their debit card to my phone for their ease in banking. Transferring from Apple Cash to their debit account worked great the past 6 years, but not on my new iPhone 12. Why not?
My elderly parents added their debit card to my phone for their ease in banking. It’s been great for when I run errands, receive funds from siblings for them, etc. And it’s worked wonderfully for the past 6 years w/my old iPhone 7. But I upgraded to a 12 just the other day and today added my Mom’s new debit card info. It set up perfectly and was verified through her credit union.
However, now I’m trying to transfer $175 from Apple Cash to Mom’s debit account and it won’t go through. It tells me the address/name is off, but I’ve switched to their name/address, turned off face recognition, etc.
It still won’t transfer. Why not? You’d think a credit union wouldn’t care if I’m transferring money TO them.
