Strong magnets on back of iPhone safe?

Hello all. I was reading through an old thread from 2020 and the 12 pro max.

I have the 14 Pro Max now and was wondering if putting it in a case that has a strong magnet built in would either cause the battery to drain quickly, heat up or cause some other internal harm.

Then It hit me. I had the same Rokform case for the 12 pro max and the magnet was not a problem.

Well if you actually use the mag safe charging then it is a definite no way.

But by far the best case for mounting on the motorcycle. 2 years that phone was on the road and when it came out of the case and traded in, they asked if I just opened it. All my phones and electronics are in as close to Brand New as it gets sans the shrink wrap.

So a magnet on the phones magnet, It's safe. If you would rather have a thin strong safe case and plugging in the charger doesn't cause you pain. look into Rokform and throw you phone out the car window without a worry.

never heard about magnetism in any form having effect for better or worse on the chemical process in lithium ion batteries, though magnetism is good for keeping a device from moving up from the surface but less efficiant to stop it sliding off a surface, you can do the test your self as to how much easier it is
