Launch Pages, then send your request directly to Apple, using the Provide pages Feedback menu item in the Pages menu:

Use the feature request form to ask for this feature and describe how it would be beneficial to Pages users.

You are unlikely to get a direct reply unless Apple needs more details, but your message will get to Apple, and, if you've made a good case, be forwarded directly to the Pages development team.
