Live Photos

I have 192 "live" photos, most of which I did not intend to be "live". Is there an efficient way to unliven them?

On your iPhone:

  • Open the "Photos" app.
  • Find the Live Photo you want to convert.
  • Tap on the photo to open it.
  • Swipe up on the photo to reveal the additional options.
  • You will see "LIVE" written at the top of the screen, along with other effects and settings.
  • Tap on "LIVE" to disable the Live Photo feature. The word "LIVE" will turn white to indicate it's turned off.
  • Tap "Done" to save the changes.

Or on mac computer

  • Transfer the Live Photos to your Mac using AirDrop or a USB cable.
  • Open the "Photos" app on your Mac.
  • Select the Live Photos you want to convert.
  • Go to the "Image" menu at the top and choose "Turn off Live Photo."
  • The Live Photos will be converted into regular still photos, and the "LIVE" badge will be removed.

I had the same issues when i needed some pictures while writing a blog. I followed the same procedure and my issues were resolved.
