smart mailbox emails not showing on my iphone

I created a smart mailbox on my Mac (MacOS Monterey). Its super useful. The smartbox doesn't translate over to my phone, and thats ok. But those emails don't seem to be in my 'all inboxes' either (on my phone - OS 16.5). Where did they go? I can only find them on my laptop.
