you will only be able to play mac games on steam not windows games so there are a bit fewer
there is a nba2k game in app store NBA 2K23 Arcade Edition on the App Store (apple.com)
the native arm (m2) games will likely perform a lot better than if it's to emulate x86 games using rosetta 2
