I had a huge list of downloads so figured out a way to remove all podcast on mass.

You can use the Storage option in System Settings to delete downloaded episodes.

  1. Open System Settings from the Apple menu.
  2. Choose General > Storage.
  3. Scroll down to Podcasts and click the ‘i’ button.
  4. Select the podcast episodes you want to get rid of.
  5. Click Delete.
  6. Quit System Settings.

If you sort by name they will be ordered by podcast show, if there are any series you want to keep.

To stop it from adding more in the future, make sure to turn off automatic downloads in the podcast app. :)
