Spam Linked Clicked

Hi!

So earlier today I accidentally clicked a spam email link (the email said that i won some gift card) that opened in chrome (with highest security that chrome offers). I’ve been very worried about it installing malware/virus on my iphone.

I immediately closed the tab and restarted my phone. After that I factory reset the phone and restored it via Icloud from a backup that was a few days old.

If I did get malware or a virus on my phone would that have solved my problem?
