Phone Not Sending Emails

A few weeks ago I discovered that emails sent from my iPhone 14 were not in fact sending. There was no prompt indicating a failure or inability to send; I simply found out over time as I realized people were not receiving my communications. Said emails would not appear in sent, outgoing, or drafts folders either. Eventually, a restart resolved the issue, however it has now resurfaced. It is not due to a lack of internet/wifi access. What can I do to prevent this from re-occurring? It has already caused me significant work issues wherein co-workers have not received critical responses that I had otherwise assumed were delivered. Checking my outbox to confirm whether or not an email has been effectively delivered each time I press send is also not practical. Thank you in advance.

Remove your email account and set it up again

Make sure that all of your emails are there or make sure that your email is saved somewhere other than your device. On your device, go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts. Tap the email account that you want to remove. Tap Delete Account.
